Use barriers such as fences to protect your garden against larger pest. Also use row covers for smaller insects. You can also remove the pests by hand. Although it could be labor intensive, it is an option if you have pests in smaller numbers or easy to remove by hand. You can also control the pests chemically. These are called Pesticides or Insecticides. They are available in many forms and varieties. Some insects grow resistant to pesticides. Note that using repeated application may affect the beneficial insects. However, you can Conventional Pesticides, Organic Pesticides, Botanical Pesticides and Microbial Pesticides to control pests.

Finally, you can combine all the methods of pest control. This is the best approach to solving these problems. If you combine the methods, you have flexibility in pest control. If organic methods like beneficial bugs are not working, you can chemical methods might just be your solution. You can also fall back on the beneficial insects on the other hand, if the garden pest becomes resistant to the pesticide you’re using.
